Colour Coded Beauty Routine

It all started with a pastel green Yves Delorme towel bought at a sale in Harrods some time ago. The colour might have faded a bit now, but its softness still remains despite the time that has passed.

I encountered that same colour again when I attended a networking event organised by Stylist magazine, where Liz Earle was one of the speakers. In the goody bag, I found her revolutionary Hot Cloth Cleanse and Polish set, beautifully presented in a colour-matching, fabric pouch.

The next item to appear in my cabinet was Clinique’s Pore Refining Solutions Stay Matt Hydrator. And soon after this, I decided to invest in Philips VisaPure. Both of these I found online, after prolonged research and a quest for an everyday routine with the sustainable effects of minimal pores and an even skin tone.

Before my new set of skin care products came together, many other ones came to my attention but none of them stayed in my beauty routine for long. It seems to be only this new blend which has brought visible results to my skin which is tested every day by a city environment, and my skin is thankful for it. There must be something in this I thought, as I realised, to my complete surprise, it’s also colour-coded!

Liz Earle’s Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth cleanser prides itself on its super-effective, yet natural, formula. The cleanser’s active ingredients include beeswax, cocoa butter, eucalyptus, hops, rosemary and chamomile extracts. It is ideal for make-up removal and the hot cloth adds an extra dimension. Once one starts using it, it’s easy to understand the “99% satisfied” reviews and multiple awards.

Philips Visapure Facial Cleansing Brush takes my routine a step further and magnifies the results by providing a gentle but deep clean. It only takes one minute which is divided into three twenty-second long parts for each face zone, with a built-in timer indicating when to move on. I highly recommend using it in the morning as well as in the evening, as it beautifully prepares the skin for make-up too. The device usually comes with one standard brush, but additional types can be purchased.

Clinique’s Pore Refining Solutions Stay Matt Hydrator offers a rounded finish to the routine, leaving an enjoyable feeling of lightness and smooth matt skin.

Each product is worth recommending in its own right. However, for me, combining them together and letting them work from the base up, gave me the results that I had been looking for, for a long time! In the space of a few weeks, my skin became more radiant and evenly toned.

My colour-coded beauty routine recently expanded beyond skin care. I was told about the new ReGenesis hair line by a good friend who is a beauty practitioner and a great advocate for RevitaLash. ReGenesis products have been created with those wanting to thicken their hair in mind. The range is extensive and covers all aspect of haircare. It caters for those looking to improve their hair and those who would simply like more volume.

This whole pastel green routine is both pampering and pleasing to the eye. The products fully address my needs and I am sure many of you will find them just as potent.
